Israellycool contributor Brian was the first to post about the State Department’s hypocrisy as pointed out by AP’s Matt Lee. He even went to the trouble to locate video of the briefing and clip out only the relevant part for easier consumption.
Yedioth Ahronoth, one of Israel’s largest news outlets, has since cottoned on to the story (a long with others). But not before taking Brian’s video without any attribution.

The giveaway? The Israellycool watermark they could not quite obliterate.
Why would they go to the trouble to try and hide the source of the video (and probably their whole story idea)? One can only guess. Perhaps they don’t like the idea of being scooped by a mere blog.
And the advantage of a being a mere blog? We can call them out on this.
