Based on low res video and his own eyes (I guess) Luke Baker, Reuters Bureau Chief for Israel & Palestinian Territories; Chairman of Foreign Press Association, has made this explosive accusation on twitter:

This is footage from the ongoing Jihad riots going on:

.
There are undercover police (dressed like Arabs) but they look to me to be behind or on the Police lines not with the protestors.
We wait to see if Luke can back up his claim with real evidence or they’re going to have to spend a few hours in the Pallywood edit suite first before they can produce the “evidence”.
Updated: 18:01 7 Oct 2015 Luke just tweeted this YouTube video. Two observations: there are undercover police amongst the stone throwers, it’ll take a slow spool through in an edit program to see if any of them actually throw a stone. Stone throwing, however is well underway when the clip starts so this doesn’t provide any evidence that the undercover police incited the throwing. The clip also has an obvious cut in it. Why? What happened during the cut?

Update: AFP have made the video non-embeddable so you have to click on it and watch it on YouTube only:
If you want to make an omelet you have to break some eggs.
If you want to catch a drug dealer you have to try sell/buy drug from him.
Even if undercover cops threw some rocks what is wrong with it?
People make absurd accusations against Israel on the basis of no real evidence.
And of course, the real fact of deadly on-going Arab violence gets overlooked.
But its too much to expect Reuters to bring balance to its stories out of Israel.
Posted by Peter Lerner:on Facebook about this video:
A stabbing in Jerusalem.
A Stabbing in Kiryat Gat.
A Stabbing in Petah Tikva.
An attempted lynch in Tekoa.
A car rammed into a checkpoint.
While the terrorists must think they are on to something. I’ll leave you with these 17 seconds, it took our ‘Duvdevan’, Special Forces unit to arrest three Palestinians that together with a crowd of about 300 attacking anybody traveling the main road to Jerusalem.
Special Forces, a small, select group of men, infiltrated the masses and posed as Palestinians. In the few seconds when they activated their mission, they scared everybody around to disperse. These guys are courageous, daring and are putting themselves at risk for the rest of us. Two words – THANK YOU
If I were an undercover cop and the stone throwing started, I’d probably throw a stone or two or three (making sure to miss) in order to build credibility with the mob and make it easier to catch someone throwing them in earnest.
that’s exactly what they are doing. NOT inciting.
It looks very not Israeli cop like. They are kicking and punching and dragging the arrested over rocks. It looks more like Paliwood.
WATCH: Disguised as stone-throwers, undercover Israeli forces arrest Palestinians
Many of these reporters stay in Israeli Hotels they should be forced to stay in philistine hotels
The IDF has posted video of the same event:
youtube.com/watch?v=o1jiqO8VMzo
(not) surprisingly, the video is longer and provides better perspective of what happened.
