Who Wore It Better?

  1. This is only an aesthetic view of kippah-wearing, but I prefer the kippah to lay flat against the back of the head, all-black and barely noticeable. That is not a good look for Bill Clinton with his bushy, white hair contrasting the puffy variety of kippah, worn on the middle of the head, resembling a birthday party hat kind of thing.

    1. They may look like idiots but they do need to cover their heads out of respect. Many of the press showed little respect by not wearing a kippah and taking pictures of the coffin being lowered.

    1. 2nd time, 1st time was Rabin’s funeral. But he’s been the only Royal to ever go to Israel.

Edited: I had some erroneous information, George Alexander informed me of a visit that I did not know about.

      1. George Alexander

Not true. Prince Philip was here in 1994 when his mother was honoured by Yad Vashem. That, of course, was a private visit.

  2. Clinton looked like a clown and Bibi’s was so low down that it was reported on LBC that he was not wearing a kippah. Obama did a good job with his. Charles has his own embellished with his coat of arms, but its a bad fit.

  3. There were Jewish Israelis there who were not wearing a kippah. I was at a wedding in Israel recently, and hardly any of the secular Israelis bothered to put on on a kippah during the chuppa. It is sad that religion has become so divise in Israel, so many secular people won’t even put on a kippah as such an event, as not to give in to the religious.
