WATCH: Experiment – Stick An Arab In Tel Aviv & A Jew In East Jerusalem

Israel Arab Mahdi Satre (who has written some guest posts on here) and Israeli Jew Rudy Rochman recently performed an experiment.

This should give us all hope, although we need to be realistic. There are actually Arabs living in Tel Aviv, going about their daily lives. And this would go horribly wrong in a place like Ramallah or Gaza.

  1. I agree, Dave. Don’t send Jews into Ramallah or Gaza and expect warm hugs from local Arabs. And don’t send Arabs into area in Hebron where Jewish settlers are living or into several West Bank Jewish settlements. And just to be safe, don’t send Ambassador Ron Dermer to the White House right now and expect to receive warm hugs, either.

    1. Nobody looks for warm hugs but their lives would not be worth a warm bucket of urine if Arabs realize they are Jews (unless they are Amira Hass). An Arab minding his own business and not looking to commit murder has nothing to fear anywhere in Israel – in case you do not know that. A gay person in any Arab town in the West Bank or Gaza would be butchered, something you ought to ponder. Yes Ron Dermer would not receive a warm welcome form President Big Ears but Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers would.

      1. I specifically mentioned some places in the West Bank, not all of Israel. Arabs, for good reason, do not have freedom of movement in the West Bank. The West Bank is a conflict zone and increased security measures are necessary. So the experiment shown in the video posted by Dave would work in some places in Israel but most certainly would be problematic in much of the West Bank.
