A day after it was announced Israelis are (still) among the happiest people in the world comes confirmation we are also among the healthiest.
According to the Bloomberg Global Health Index, Israel ranks in 9th place out of 163 countries. Which surprises me, given the amount of shwarma we tend to consume. Plus you’d think being surrounded by belligerent states would not be good for our blood pressure.
Heck, we even have a place on this exclusive healthy country map.
Which sure beats being wiped off maps as we tend to be.
And those usually wiping us off the maps – or threatening to do so for real – do not appear on the list.
