BDS-Holes (Again) Demonstrate They Are Antisemitic

Israeli author David Grossman is an outspoken peace activist.

From Wikipedia:

David Grossman

Initially supportive of Israel’s action during the 2006 Israel-Hizbollah conflict on the grounds of self-defence, on August 10, 2006, he and fellow authors Amos Oz and A.B. Yehoshua held a press conference at which they strongly urged the government to agree to a ceasefire that would create the basis for a negotiated solution, saying: “We had a right to go to war. But things got complicated… I believe that there is more than one course of action available.”

Two days later, his 20-year-old son Uri, a staff sergeant in the 401st armored brigade, was killed by an anti-tank missile shortly before the ceasefire. Grossman explained that the death of his son did not change his opposition to Israel’s policy towards the Palestinians.

In 2010 Grossman, his wife, and her family attended demonstrations against the spread of Israeli settlements.

Last year, he was one of hundreds of Israeli artists and intellectuals who signed a letter stating

“We call upon Jews around the world to join with Israeli partners for coordinated action to end the occupation and build a new future, for the sake of the State of Israel and the generations to come,” the letter said.

With these views, the BDS crowd – who claim to be a “movement for freedom, justice and equality” – must really like him, right?

Wrong.

Aforthcoming Lincoln Center production of Man Booker Prize-winning novelist David Grossman’s “To The End Of The Land” has become a surprising target for protest.

As reported by The New York Times,, the theatrical adaptation of Grossman’s anti-war novel, produced by the Cameri Theater of Israel and the Ha’Bima National Theater of Israel, which will be presented at Lincoln Center in New York from July 24-27, is drawing fire for the Israel’s Office of Cultural Affairs in North America’s support of it. A letter written by Adalah-NY: The New York Campaign for the Boycott of Israel calls on Lincoln Center to cancel the production. “It is deeply troubling that Lincoln Center, one of the world’s leading cultural institutions, is helping the Israeli government to implement its systematic ‘Brand Israel’ strategy of employing arts and culture to divert attention from the state’s decades of violent colonization, brutal military occupation and denial of basic rights to the Palestinian people,” the letter states.

In other words, BDS-holes are trying to shut down this anti-war play based on this anti-“occupation” author’s novel – because he is an Israeli Jew.

What does that tell you about their true motivations?

Hamas must be kvelling.
