A few weeks ago, Labour’s Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry said that Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn is a Zionist.
And she seems to have continued her habit of saying really stupid things. A few days ago, she stated that Labor’s antisemitism problem requires “a bit of movement on both sides”
Emily Thornberry has called for “a bit of movement on both sides” to help tackle the Labour Party’s continued antisemitism crisis under leader Jeremy Corbyn.
In an interview given during last week’s trip to Israel, Labour’s Shadow Foreign Secretary said: “There is clearly a lot of work to be done between the Labour Party and the British Jewish community.
“And I am prepared to do whatever it takes in order to be able to open channels again and to see if we can sort this out.
“We need a bit of movement on both sides.”
To which I could have many responses – but none would come close to the wit of Stephen Daisley, columnist at the Scottish Daily Mail

And she is back in the news for sounding like a nincompoop yet again – after being unable to name a country which has made a success of socialism.

If Corbyn is a Zionist, then Thornberry is an articulate, deep thinker.
