The Curious Incident of the Dong

For some strange reason, this already-odd story has…ehh…been brought back from the dead, almost 3 years after it was first reported, thanks to The Mirror.

An angry Israeli man claims that a border guard drew a picture of a PENIS on his passport alongside the words ‘Long live Palestine’ – just because he was Jewish.

Tal Y’aakobi, 25, said that he was shocked to find the drawing and the note, which he believes was a racial insult .

He has accused a ‘hostile’ Chilean border official of defacing his passport after he detained him for an hour and a half ‘for no reason’ while crossing from Argentina to Chile.

He discovered the message four days later and felt forced to pay £200 for a replacement passport when he returned home to Israel.

Mr Y’aakobi told The Independent : “From the first moment, the guy at the border was hostile, and threw my passport in front of my face.

“They then detained us for an hour and a half on purpose until we moved.”

“There was no reason to do this, only because I am Jewish.”

The incident occurred two years ago when Y’aakobi was travelling in South America, but it only emerged in public recently when journalist Itay Blumental from YNet news tweeted a picture of the defaced passport.

Long live Palestine? More like long live this story…it is almost 3 years old! But try telling that also to Russia’s Sputnik News, who seem to be spying on the Mirror and have also reported it as if it is hot off the press.

Meanwhile, if you invert the offending graffiti, it looks a bit like palestinian propaganda character Handala.
