Now this is a good idea.
Yizkor.com enables mourners to capture the history and impact of a loved one, including biography, timeline, photos, videos, family tree, and funeral information. Family and friends can visit the site and contribute stories and memories or just “leave a stone.” The result is an online, interactive memorial “book” that is uniquely personal and imparts the legacy of the deceased to children and grandchildren.
The site is very well done, with a real interactive look and feel. What’s more, it is free.
I know I intend to set up a memorial on the site to my dad. If you are also interested, click here.
Note: This is an advertisement. While I am not getting paid to say nice things about Yizkor.com, I do get paid on the basis of click-throughs. However, I make it my policy to only post about things I like or believe in.
I’ve added some new items to the Israellycool CafePress store.
Check it out. All proceeds aid the global Zionist conspiracy.
I haven’t plugged the Israellycool store in a long time, but given the blog hosting bill I recently received (not to mention my third trip to Australia in half a year), it can’t hurt.
You can order something by clicking here or on the Blogad on the right.
As an added bonus, if you order some clothes, have your photo taken in them and then send me the picture, you will be the Israellycool store “model” for 3 months.
Of course, if you would like to support this blog in other ways, you can always click the ChipIn button on the right, or take out a Blogad.
As you were.
