What is evil, decrepit and smells like peanuts?

Question: What is evil, decrepit and smells like peanuts?

Answer: You guessed it.

Bird droppings

Former President Jimmy Carter has sent North Korea a message of condolence over the death of Kim Jong-il and wished “every success” to the man expected to take over as dictator, according to the communist country’s state-run news agency.

A dispatch from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Mr. Carter sent the message to Kim Jong-un, Kim Jong-il’s son and heir apparent.

“In the message Jimmy Carter extended condolences to Kim Jong Un and the Korean people over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. He wished Kim Jong Un every success as he assumes his new responsibility of leadership, looking forward to another visit to [North Korea] in the future,” the KCNA dispatch read.

When contacted by The Washington Times for comment, the Carter Center provided an email contact to a spokeswoman who is out of the office until the New Year.

North Korea is routinely labeled as one of the world’s most oppressive governments under an eccentric personality cult surrounding the Kim family. Harrowing reports from defectors describe North Korea as a dirt-poor nation filled with concentration camps and Communist propaganda. Kim Jong-il ran the reclusive country according to a “military first” policy since the mid-1990s, after a famine that may have killed as many as 2 million people.

Mr. Carter has visited North Korea twice — including a 1994 visit for talks on nuclear issues that led to a deal in which North Korea agreed to dismantle its nuclear-weapons program in exchange for oil deliveries and the construction of two nuclear reactors. That deal collapsed in 2002.

The former U.S. president also downplayed a 2010 North Korean attack on a South Korean island and disclosure of a uranium enrichment facility, saying the acts were merely “designed to remind the world that they deserve respect in negotiations that will shape their future.”

I guess it makes sense that Carter cozies up to the world’s evil dictators like he does, because he is destined to spend a lot of time with them.

Like an eternity.

Peanut boy is at it again.

Former President Jimmy Carter urges the United States to not veto the Security Council vote for Palestinian statehood anticipated to take place next week.

“If I were president, I’d be very glad to see the Palestinians have a nation recognized by the United Nations,” Carter tells Guy Raz, host of weekends on All Things Considered. “There’s no downside to it.”

Carter admits that for President Obama, failure to veto “would have some adverse effects perhaps on his political future.”

But he thinks it’s a price worth paying. His predecessor Harry Truman backed the creation of Israel for moral reasons, against the advice of his inner circle. Carter says that today, Palestinian statehood is “a basic moral commitment” for the U.S.

—-

The statehood vote is largely symbolic, making Palestine akin to the Vatican. Its greatest value, according to Carter, is to break the impasse in negotiations for a two-state solution. Without a vote, Carter says, “the only alternative is a maintenance of the status quo.”

No downside? Carter certainly has one – or more aptly a backside – and he never fails to speak through it.

Update: I am unable to embed this video, but it is related and I couldn’t resist.

To the palestinian terrorists of Hamas, 16-year-old Daniel Viflic was a Zionist soldier worthy of death.

A few days ago, I posted about the death of 16-year-old Daniel Viflic, who succumbed to his wounds 10 days after sustaining his life-threatening injuries in a rocket attack against a school bus.

Frozen in time, Daniel will always be the 16-year-old boy who never lived long enough to marry, have children and grandchildren, live a long and fulfilling life, and experience many of the things we take for granted.

To the palestinian terrorists of Hamas, 16-year-old Daniel Viflic was a Zionist soldier worthy of death.

From the Arabic version of their website (hatr tip: CIF Watch):

With pictures – Death of a Zionist soldier in the “Kfar Sa’ad” Operation (carried out) by Al-Qassam

April 18, 2011

Al-Qassam exclusive

On the evening of Sunday, 17 April, one of the wounded in the Kfar Sa’ad convoy died, after a Zionist convoy was targeted by the Al-Qassam Brigades as it was passing on a military road connecting military positions weeks ago.

The Zionist “Ha’aretz” newspaper mentioned that the Zionist killed (i.e. dead) met his death (sic!) weeks ago east of the city of Gaza, after the convoy which was transporting him was targeted by the Al-Qassam Brigades.

The newspaper mentioned that the killed (i.e. dead) was a Zionist conscript who was treated in intensive care in the Soroka hospital in the occupied city of B’ir Al-Sab’ (Beer-Sheba) after a major deterioration in his medical condition.

(The newspaper) added that the dead “Daniel Fiflich” (sic, there is no “v” in Arabic) was buried in the cemetery of the village of Noham (sic) last night. He died of the serious wounds which he received ten days ago when Al-Qassam (Brigades) targeted a Zionist convoy in the occupied Western Naqb (Negev).

Al-Qassam carried out the operation

The Brigades of the shahid ‘Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam announced Thursday (April 7) evening that they targeted a Zionist convoy near the Kfar Sa’ad mughtasaba (this is an Arabic term for Israeli settlements, both inside and outside the Green Line. It comes from the word “rape”, and is meant to say that the place is being raped, or taken from its original inhabitants by force), east of Gaza.

The (Al-Qassam) Brigades announced in a military communiqué that its mujahids (jihad fighters) targeted a convoy of the occupation exactly at 3:15 pm, near the Zionist Kfar Sa’ad mughtasaba (see above), east of Gaza. This (targeting) led to it (i.e. the convoy) being hit directly. The occupation admitted that two of the Zionists were wounded at the time of the targeting (I know it sounds idiotic, but this is how it translates into English), one of them serious (wounds), and he died last night.

The Brigades added that “we claim responsibility for this Jihad operation, and we stress that this is a primary response for the crimes of the occupation and that more responses are on the way Allah willing, and its Jihad-waging Brigades will remain the spearhead in waging resistance against the occupation, and that it will respond twice as much if it (the occupation) will dare to commit any new stupid acts.”

It (the Al-Qassam Brigades) pointed out that this heroic operation comes as a response to the ongoing and repetitious crimes of the occupation and its increasing taghawwuls (probably a typo, and he meant “tawaghghul”, which means “incursions”) against our people in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the (West) Bank and the (Gaza) Strip, the latest of which was the murdering of the Qassam leaders Isma’il and ‘Abdallah Labad and Muhammad Al-Daya.

Besides photos of the destroyed school bus with the Hebrew word for ‘children’ (yeladim) clearly visible at the top (as I previously noted were on the English version of the website), this latest post on the Arabic site contains photos from Daniel’s funeral, such as this:

That Arabic above the photo means “Pictures of the killed Zionist”

Cold.

Calculating.

Evil.

Darlings of many in the West, including so-called “peace activists” and failed politicians.

All those who actively support Hamas or even tolerate them as “democratically elected” representatives of Gazans – shame on you!

Here is another example of the kind of thing that keeps Jimmy Carter up at night.

Besides those lustful thoughts he keeps having.

Two days after ZAKA volunteers attempted to save the life of Mary Jane Gardner, the British Bible student who was killed in the Jerusalem bomb attack, the British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould presented ZAKA Chairman Yehuda Meshi-Zahav with an underwater scooter to be used by the specialist ZAKA Divers Unit in life-saving search and rescue missions at sea. During the presentation, which took place Friday (25.3.11) at the Ambassador’s residence in Ramat Gan, ZAKA Divers Unit head Haim Outmezgine and ZAKA volunteer diver Roi Rachamim gave a demonstration of the underwater scooter in the swimming pool of the Ambassador’s residence.

British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould: “The British Embassy is glad to be supporting ZAKA. They do amazing work, helping people regardless of their background, race or religion. The awful events of this week have reminded us of the importance of what they do, and how necessary their work is.”

Elder of Moron Jimmy Carter reportedly consoled evil old bag Helen Thomas after the latter made some antisemitic remarks (hat tip: Mike B).

"Hi there, big boy! I wouldn't mind a peanut right about now"

If there was any question where former President Jimmy Carter’s sympathies lie, this might shed a little more light on that.

According to a column in the Feb. 24 edition of the Falls Church News-Press by Nicholas F. Benton, the editor-in-chief of the publication, the paper’s newest columnist Helen Thomas had a surprise waiting for her after an extraordinary interview she gave to HLN’s Joy Behar last week. That was flowers from Rosie O’Donnell, who had been on the record for defending Thomas in the past.

However, as Benton noted, at the time of the Thomas’s infamous remarks, there were very few willing to defend her other than O’Donnell and the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter.

“[Rosie] O’Donnell sent Thomas, now age 90, flowers in sympathy for the highly upsetting incident and, along with President Jimmy Carter, was one of only a handful of her longtime colleagues and friends to reach out to her,” Benton wrote.

"Talk Dirty Jew to me, baby!"

Alana Goodman, the assistant online editor for Commentary magazine, followed up with Benton on that claim. She noted in a post that Benton told her that Thomas told him that Carter reached out to her after the comments.

“Benton told me over the phone that Thomas told him about Carter’s outreach herself, though she didn’t give him details about what the former president said to her,” Goodman wrote. “‘The context was in the context of what transpired,’ said Benton, referring to Thomas’s unceremonious retirement from Hearst.”

If Carter actually did reach out Thomas following her controversial departure from Hearst, it wouldn’t be out of line with his world view. Carter has been a longtime critic of Israeli policy toward the Palestinians, including in his 2006 book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid.”

Rosalynn, beware! I’d say Jimmy may be ready to act on some of that lust. I’m guessing he finds antisemitic remarks to be a real turn on.

Heck, he’s probably already committed adultery with Helen Thomas in his heart.

Easyjet has apologised to Jewish customers after the only food served on a flight from Israel was ham melts and bacon baguettes.

Passengers who follow the faith’s ban on eating pork were forced to go hungry for the four-and-a-half hour journey from Tel Aviv to London.

Yesterday an easyJet spokeswoman said company policy bans even taking pork products aboard planes on the route.

She added: “It appears that a mistake was made on this flight and that incorrect food canisters were loaded.

“We would like to apologise to the passengers.”

Although I have to say going hungry on a 4-and-a-half hour flight is child’s play.

I was once on a 12+hour flight that had screwed up my kosher meal order. I ended up eating more salted peanuts than Jimmy Carter.

Former US President and current Elder of Moron Jimmy Carter is being sued.

Former US President and current Elder of Moron Jimmy Carter is being sued.

The former US President Jimmy Carter is facing legal action from readers who claim he misrepresented Israel in a book about the Middle East conflict.

Mr Carter, who was president between 1976 and 1980, could have to pay more than £3 million if the case is successful.

The dispute is over his 2006 work “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid”, in which Mr Carter compared the Israeli government to the leaders of apartheid South Africa.

He wrote: “When Israel does occupy this territory deep within the West Bank, and connects the 200-or-so settlements … with a road, and then prohibits the Palestinians from using that road, or in many cases even crossing the road, this perpetrates even worse instances of apartness, or apartheid, than we witnessed even in South Africa”.

The case, filed at the Manhattan Federal Claims Court by a group of readers, accuses Mr Carter of filling his book “with demonstrable falsehoods, omissions and knowing misrepresentations intended to promote [his] agenda of anti-Israel propaganda”.

According to court papers quoted by the New York Post, the group who filed the case said Mr Carter was wrong to have promoted the book as “non-fiction”.

The papers added: “This lawsuit challenges the defendants’ actions in attempting to capitalise on Carter’s status as a former president of the United States to mislead unsuspecting members of the reading public who thought they could trust their former president to tell the truth.”

Mr Carter, who as president oversaw the historic peace treaty between Israel and Egypt, is a prominent critic of the Israeli government. In 2008 he described Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip as “one of the greatest human-rights crimes on earth”.

The lawsuit is directed at both Mr Carter and his publishers, Simon & Schuster.

A spokesperson for the company said the lawsuit was “frivolous”.

You can find a copy of the complaint here.

Here’s hoping he loses – and has to pay more than peanuts.

Getty Images

Muhammad Deif, the commander of Hamas’ military wing, said the Palestinians will not give up their struggle until Israel ceases to exist.

In a statement issued Saturday to mark 23 years since the Islamist group was founded, Deif also vowed to release all Palestinian prisoners held in Israel. “We promise to release them and break the (prison) bars despite the occupiers’ efforts,” he said.

In a direct message to Israel, Deif said, “You will disappear and we will have Palestine. We won’t wave a white flag as long as even one Muslim remains.”

What say you, Jimmeh?

All I can say is thank G-d we have the “moderates”: our “peace partners” of the Palestinian Authority.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Friday night that in the future Palestinian state “there will be no Israeli presence.”

While touring Ramallah, Abbas rejected the possibility that Israeli soldiers would remain stationed along the borders of the future Palestinian state or will be a part of an international force that will deploy there.

“We are prepared to move toward peace based on international resolutions, the Road Map and 1967 borders, but when a Palestinian state is established it will be empty of any Israeli presence,” said the Palestinian leader.

“If a Palestinian state is established with Jerusalem as its capital, we will object to the presence of even one Israeli in its territory. This is our position,” he said.

According to reports, Abbas was referring only to Israelis, as the Palestinian Authority does not object to foreign Jews being a part of the international force which may deploy along the borders of a future Palestinian state. He was referring to IDF soldiers, settlers and Israelis carrying a blue identification card.

That sounds a heck of a lot like Apartheid. I think a new book is called for.

What say you, Jimmeh?

Those brave palestinian terrorists have fired a Qassam at a Zionist installation (i.e. a kindergarden), wounding a Zionist occupation soldier (i.e. a schoolgirl)

Getty Images

A Qassam rocket struck the Ashkelon beach early Tuesday, exploding in an open field near a kindergarten and lightly wounded a girl on her way to school.

The girl was treated on the spot by Magen David Adom paramedics; two other people were suffering from shock. A number of buildings in the area sustained light damage.

There were about 10 children in the kindergarten when the rocket struck about seven meters away, said a teacher. “I quickly got out of my car, ignoring the siren to help the children. I gathered them together and kept them busy.”

Residents of the area had felt that a strike could be imminent recently, she said. “The doors are always open and the children are not allowed to leave the area,” she said. “We are very strict about that.”

This brings the number of rockets striking Israel over the last two days to 13.

The time to go medieval on these guys is way passed. But better late than never.

Updates (Israel time; most recent at top)

5:18PM: Those pro palestinian cartoonists might want to consider updating their “poor palestinian with a mere stone against an IDF tank” theme.

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi admitted Tuesday that a Kornet missile had been fired at an Israeli tank earlier this month.

Ashkenazi told the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that the missile penetrated the tank’s outer shell but failed to explode inside it. There were no injuries in the incident.

“On December 6, a Kornet anti-tank missile fired for the first time in Gaza hit an IDF tank and penetrated its outer shell. Luckily, the missile did not explode inside the tank. We are talking about a massive missile, one of the most dangerous in the battlefield, which has already been used against the IDF in the Lebanon War.”

12:52PM: CNN’s Richard Quest came to Israel where he annoyed met with Channel 2 News anchor Yonit Levi.

11:45AM: There are at least two things Elder of Moron Jimmy Carter should keep to himself: the lust in his heart…and his opinions.

Former US president Jimmy Carter on Monday told Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo he is happy Brazil recognized Palestinian statehood, adding, “We cannot count on the United States alone to bring peace, since it agrees with almost everything Israel does,” The Telegraph reported.

Carter explained the role he envisioned for Brazil, saying it “can help because it has a lot of influence among developing countries. Brazil can be one of the leaders in this process,” according to the report.

Referring to Brazil’s decision to recognize the “state of Palestine,” Carter told Folha, “I am very happy to see that Brazil recognized the Palestinian state with the 1967 borders.”

11:16AM: A palestinian terror group called Jaish Al-Islam (Army of Islam) has claimed responsibility for this morning’s Qassam attack.

According to Ma’an, they are the group who once threatened to “kill U.S. President George Bush and his Christian allies.”
