Stop the JNF South Africa is supposedly a non-racist non-violent Human rights organization against the HR abuses by committed by the JNF in Israel against Palestinians and Bedouin.

Why then do they count amongst their “non violent” ranks Lubna Nadvi? I had no idea who she was, but came across her on Twitter as she had posted a children’s drawing calling for a boycott of Reggies, a large toy retailer in SA that supports the JNF.

I asked her why she was so proud about encouraging (brainwashing) young kids to hate, instead of encouraging them to debate/engage. I then sent a pic of a Palestinian mom strapping a suicide belt onto her child, Asking Lubna if this was “next years class”.

As you can see  her response was

Who is the WE she means? Most south African i know are disgusted by terrorism.

After a quick google search i discovered Lubna is also a Professor of Political Islam at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Is this really the type of person we want educating (brainwashing) our future generations in South Africa?

I did get a tweet from her two days later in which she states ” I don’t justify any kind of suicide or homicide. But I understand the concept of armed struggle against oppression and occupation”.

Too little to late Lubna, your true felings came out two days ago, and your last tweet isn’t much of an improvement anyway.

Once again, the study of political Islam seems to engender feelings of hatred toward Jews. What a surprise.

Strikes and, more to the point, violent strikes, are nothing new to South Africa. Yet the last few weeks, even by SA standards, have been especially turbulent.

On October 5th, Anglo American Platinum fired 12,000 illegally striking miners. Over 40 people were massacred in the now infamous “Lonmin Massacre.” Fuel supplies ran out and supermarkets shelves were emptier by the day due to striking truck drivers. Shell SA declared “Force Majeure” indemnifying them of their obligations to deliver fuel to the relevant retailers. Drivers defying the strike were intimidated and one paid with his life after being struck by a brick to the head. City Press, a leading local Newspaper Recently ran the banner “Strike Nation.” You get the picture.

Now without assigning responsibility to COSATU (Congress of South African Trade Unions) directly (many of the strikes were illegal or “Wildcat” strikes), Cosatu is THE face of South African trade unions, with over 2 million members. At its helm is their charismatic Secretary-General Zwelinzima Vavi (@Zwelinzima1 on Twitter), THE face of South African Trade Unions.

Or is he? Amid all the chaos and mayhem, he had/has the capacity to, if not solve, definitely influence his mass of followers. Now taking the aforementioned into account, Mr Vavi still found the time to take a few days off. No, not for a well-deserved (if extremely ill-timed) break with family and friends, but to go and make his and Cosatu’s presence felt at the Russell Tribunal on Palestine in New York.

During his short speech at the tribunal he made some of the following points

• After hearing the testimonies of people from South Africa and Palestine during the previous Russell Tribunal in Cape Town, he came to the “correct” conclusion that Israel is practicing Apartheid against the people of Palestine
• The “Apartheid” in Israel is worse than the Apartheid of old South Africa ( I suggest he take a walk around the various university campuses, visit the Supreme Court etc. should he ever bother to go to Israel)
• Israel’s wall is an Apartheid wall (obviously not for security)
• Israel used chemical weapons (I take it he is talking about the white phosphorus used as a smoke-screen, the type  allowed under International Law )
• Israel is attempting to drive Palestinians out of Israel/Territories (population increase)
• “The people of Palestine are crying, hear their cry”

Now I could go and dissect his various conclusions one by one and show the full results of recent independent polls by the Palestinian An-Najah University in which 72.1% of Palestinians, unlike himself, reject a one-state solution. Instead, allow me to give you a small example of COSATU’S Pro-Palestinian and (yes) anti-Israel bias :

Patrick Craven, Cosatu’s spokesperson and close confidante of Zwelinzima Vavi, recently wrote a letter urging a local Church to not participate in a pro-Israel march. Chief Rabbi of South Africa, Warren Goldstein, in an open response to that letter, stated that “the tone and content of his letter exceeded the boundaries of fair and decent political discourse”. He continued by saying that “a court of law could find that parts, if not all, of the letter constitutes hate speech”. The Letter by Mr Craven was filled with distortions of truth and factual inaccuracies in a blatant attempt to defame Israel and the South African Jewish Community.

Some of the more serious Allegations made by Mr Craven were:

• The South African Zionist Federation’s hands are “Dripping with the blood of our brothers and sisters in Palestine”
• Mr Craven believes that Zionism is an “expression of Jewish racial superiority exercised at the expense of the non-Jewish world in general, and the Palestinians in particular”
• The Israeli “occupation and theft of the land and it’s natural resources” from the indigenous people is nothing but a legalization of Jewish supremacy in order to “further dehumanize everyone outside their scope of Zionist purity”
• Zionism refers to those who” believe in a state exclusively for the ruling supremacists at the expense of the indigenous Palestinian people because they view themselves as ordained by G”d to do all it takes to defend their privileged position”

As Chief Rabbi Goldstein correctly stated, Mr Craven’s letter serves to propagate, under the guise of anti-Zionism, one of the vilest anti-Semitic canards that Jews regard non-Jews with contempt and will stop at nothing to advance themselves at their expense. This is a gross distortion of the theological concept of Jewish “Chosen-ness” characterizing it as an expression of Jewish racial superiority.

Tellingly, there was never any real response by Craven or Cosatu to the Rabbi’s open letter except for this little gem,  which can be summed up in one word: “Noted.” However it is with this disturbingly biased mind-set that Mr Vavi set off for New York to partake in the anti-Israel hate fest known as The Russell Tribunal. I’m sure he found himself in good, like-minded company there. Unfortunately for us Zionists/Jews in South Africa, this is the contempt and hate we deal with from Cosatu on a regular basis.

BBC Sport’s London 2012 Olympics page clearly lists Pretoria as the only capital city of South Africa

The capital of South Africa, according to BBC Sport, is Pretoria. This is not entirely correct if you apply the same standards to South Africa as the BBC apply to the Jewish State.

Following up on my previous complaint to the BBC and their risible answer I have now submitted a new complaint about their Israel page:

Israel’s information page, unlike the information page for every other country in the world, does not list a Capital City. It bizarrely lists a “Seat of Government” and makes an irrelevant statement about embassies.

Even Wikipedia lists Jerusalem as the Capital City of Israel. I believe the Prime Minister of Israel has now written to you twice to confirm this (from his office in Jerusalem).

Bizarrely, a country like South Africa, which has three separate capital cities covering the executive, judicial and legislative branches of government, is listed on your web site as having it’s capital in Pretoria. This is commonly accepted but not actually clear cut.

If you are to split hairs on Israel, why do you apply different rules to the world’s only Jewish state and not to a

country like South Africa?

The Prime Minister’s Office and Mark Regev have also not accepted the BBC’s change to list Jerusalem as a “Seat of Government” instead of Capital City.

Several hundreds of people staged a protest march in Pretoria on Thursday against South Africa’s plans to stick “Made in the Palestinian Territories” labels on goods from the area.

Around 300 members of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) and the Inkatha Freedom party marched peacefully and handed over a petition against the labelling to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, ministry spokesman Sidwell Medupe told AFP.

South Africa’s Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies has argued that consumers must be informed of a product’s origin, as is common practice in other parts of the world, including the European Union.

Reverend Kenneth Meshoe, leader of the ACDP argued however that “the South African government must not involve itself in the political agenda of organisations and anti-Israeli lobbies.”

If Israel were truly an Apartheid state, there’s no way on earth these people would be marching in support.

As I see it, while there are many peaceful Muslims who are more often than not, caught in crossfire of terrorism by their coreligionists, it is in fact Islam to blame, not any so called “extremists”, it’s just Islam 101, the fundamental kind that will be the norm if in fact Islam is ever reformed as many have called for.

People are just kicking the can down the road in promoting the mirage called ‘moderate Islam’, which is in fact a Western construct, there’s only Islam. It’s something that I’ve been told, face to face, by the leader of the world’s largest Islamic body, the OIC’s Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu himself.

Are there moderate Muslims? Of course there are, but there isn’t anything called moderate Islam, there is only Islam. All four schools of Islamic orthodox jurisprudence (the only schools any Muslim who wants to be anything in Islam adheres to) offer the most anti-modern world view imaginable.

Just look at the Muslim Brotherhood and their brother Salafists in how badly they want to instill the sharia throughout Egypt. Remember, it’s in Egypt that al-Azhar university stands, the most respected (and fundamentalist/anti-modern/rejectionist) Islamic institution within Islam. Dr.Andrew Bostom accurately labels it: “the Vatican of Sunni Islam“.

Any moderation that exists within Islam has been through Western influence, and that’s a good thing, but don’t make the mistake that many have by concluding it means thatbasic Islam promotes moderation, on the contrary, any moderation that exists, exists only to the extent of the lack of  fundamentalist influence (Islam 101). Once the long beards set up shop, the trek back to the 7th century begins.

Hussein Solomon is a South African professor who is the leading expert on revolutionary Islamist terrorism in his own country and Africa generally. He has just finished a book, Global Jihad: The South African Front. Equally interesting, though, is the background to his work.

In the book he explains why he is so intent on this subject. Solomon describes how he was affected by an August 1998 terrorist attack on Planet Hollywood in Cape Town in which two people were killed and others injured or even crippled.

He writes

“The people who perpetrated such an act of barbarity called themselves Muslim and attempted to justify the act as a blow against the Great Satan–the United States of America. But, the political mandarins of Washington were not hurt by this outrage. The particular professor in the story lives in Cape Town, South Africa. This is the same South Africa that is busy erasing it’s Afrikaner history. Do you know what the highway into Durban from the airport is called? Take a guess. Answer is buried here.

Israel has sent a delegation of 100 students to represent it in the annual Apartheid Week in South Africa, an Israeli newspaper reported Tuesday.

The report in Maariv noted one unusual participant in this year’s delegation — a 25-year-old Muslim Bushra Khalilieh, a member of Israel’s Arab minority in the Galilee.

The newspaper said Khalilieh was attending university in one of South Africa’s university campuses. Khalilieh, who wears a hijab, came to Israel’s defense during activities on campus.

“We toured Johannesburg and Cape Town’s campuses and met local students,” she said.

“We spoke with them about Israel and I told them about my personal issue as an Arab girl living in Israel. I feel Israel to be my hometown where there’s equality and I have all my rights.”

“When students hear us, they are surprised as there are some who do not even know there are Arabs living in Israel. I, as an Arab Israeli girl, love my country and believe that it seeks peace and respects all its citizens.”

Khalilieh, a masters student at Tel Aviv University, stressed that she represents herself and not the position of the Israeli government.

“I represent myself as a Muslim Arab who lives in Israel as a liberal and free girl unlike other Arab girls who live in Arab countries and do not have the human rights I have like freedom of expression and dignity.”

She added: “There are people who are calling to boycott us and say that there is apartheid in Israel, but I try to show Israel as a country that’s different from what they think.”

Brian of London should really be working but instead he’s trying to suggest a way to sidestep the ridiculous accusations of Apartheid so commonly thrown at Israel.

So much stems from the ignorance of the real history of Islam. Bat Ye’or’s vicious and vindictive marginalisation by “serious” academia has been a massive crime. Once you remove the true history of JIhad conquest and subjugation of Dhimmis and replace it with the “Golden Age” myth you set the scene for all that follows.

As a kid I grew up a South African in England. I knew there was something wrong in South Africa but the vehemence and viciousness of the opposition at times upset me and struck me as odd. I also knew the details of the crimes Mandela admitted to, which those praising him before his renunciation of violence didn’t seem to.

Apartheid in South Africa was built to some degree on crazy religious foundations and was obviously wrong. Apartheid was a political expression of a white supremacist belief. The new heirs of this apartheid are the biggest practitioners of Them and Us in History. Islamic Supremacists. Islam and its un-just legal system of sharia are the ultimate political expressions of Apartheid.

To flap and fluster and defend against this nonsense charge is a mistake. Make the Judo move, sidestep, and point out who the real Heirs of Apartheid are.

The only sign like that in Israel is the one forbidding Jews from entering parts of Muslim Occupied Israel.
