The IDF has pulled off another fantastic rescue, this time of missing taxi cab driver Eliyahu Gurel.
Most people do not realize that the IDF is predominantly made up of kids just out of school. They put their education and careers on hold, and serve for the welfare of Israel’s citizens. Despite what the mainstream media may have you believe, the vast majority of IDF soldiers are not trigger-happy goons, and in fact place themselves at great risk to minimize palestinian casualties where possible. In fact, many of the soldiers combine their army service with Torah study, learning about Jewish law, ethics and morality.
It makes all of us here feel a heck of a lot safer knowing that we have the world’s finest army protecting us.
