Clarification

In the wake of comments by Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz that Yasser Arafat may be expelled, the US have asked for a clarification. So here it is:

Arafat is a murderer who has been responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent men, women and children. He continues to work against any chance of peace by planning terror attacks against Israeli civilians. He has also caused much suffering to his own people by taking money earmarked for them and keeping it for his own personal use. He deserves nothing less than a slow, painful death. However, Israel has decided not to kill him, since that may make him a martyr. Rather, we would like to expel him to a far away land where he can live out the rest of his miserable life and hopefully die in excruciating pain.

Anyone have a problem with that?

Update: For the record, I subscribe to the view that he should be tried for his crimes and, after being found guilty, executed. He will be viewed as a martyr no matter what, even if he is expelled. So we may as well rid the world of this evil.
