It is bad enough that the real AFatRat has been squandering his peoples’ money. Now some fake ones are following in his footsteps.
Police nabbed two alleged conmen in northern Israel who had knocked out hundreds of fake credit cards, including one in the name of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, the Yediot Aharonot reported Sunday.
Invoices totalling thousands of shekels were addressed to the Muqataa, Arafat’s headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah, where he has been confined for the last two years, the daily said.
Two men in their late 30s from the town of Afula now face charges.
