A 67-year-old man is dead after he and his mate were attacked by a raging ram on a property in the NSW southern highlands.
The two men were feeding cows and sheep in paddocks on a property on the Old Hume Highway, Berrima, when the ram charged at the younger man, aged 46.
His older companion went to help but the ram attacked him, striking him in the chest.
A spokesman for sheep condemned the attack, but stated that this kind of incident is the result of the brutal oppression of sheep throughout the world, at the hands of greedy, capitalist farmers.
