The US Israel has rebuffed Israel the US.
Israel on Saturday strongly rebuffed criticism from the US, its closest ally, of a veiled threat by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to assassinate Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
Internal Security Minister Tsahi Hanegbi said in an interview with Israel Radio that “it seems to me that it (the US) should be the last one that can preach to us about how to implement our right to self-defence”.
