Jordan’s King Abdullah has offered some advice for PLO Arab leader Yasser Afatrat.
Yasser Arafat should take “a long look in the mirror” and decide whether to step aside in the interest of his people, Jordan’s king said in an interview published Tuesday, providing a rare indication of Arab frustration with the Palestinian leader.
While I applaud King Abdullah for making the suggestion, I don’t know how effective it will be. After all, would you want to look in the mirror if this is the face staring back at you?
