While AP, AFP, Reuters and the like continue to take photographs of little old men standing next to the “ominous” security fence, or small PLO Arab children playing near it, it is good to see a photograph that shows the truer situation.
This photo appears in today’s Jerusalem Post (Ariel Jerozolimski) with the following caption:
Palestinian boy standing near a blown up Jerusalem bus, placed near the Abu Dis barrier in east Jerusalem
To me, this child is saying “Victory is ours. The barrier is coming down and we are going to kill more of you.”
And herein lies the difference between Israelis and PLO Arabs. You would never see an Israeli child showing joy over the deaths of innocent people.
