A Muslim blogger is having difficulty understanding a very simple concept:
Witness Israelly Cool. Another example of that silliness: “In Basel [Switzerland], I created the Jewish State.” Thanks, Mr. Hertzl (Hertz rents cars. But you have to give them back. Hertzl took a country, but nobody wants to give it back).
The security fence is a temporary and nonviolent way to reduce terrorism. It is already saving lives. When the terrorism stops, the fence can be taken down.
Israelly illogical, too. Because that’s the excuse given, though we know: This is not a separation fence, but a divorce fence, and that from a spouse-abuser. If the “separation” fence is really reducing terrorism, then shouldn’t we start reducing the fence, since it’s working? This is b.s.
I suggest to our Muslim friend that he re-read the quote about the fence: “When the terrorism stops, the fence can be taken down.” Yes, we have managed to reduce terrorism, but why on Earth should we dismantle the fence now, especially with PLO Arab terrorist groups more determined than ever to wreak death and destruction on the innocent. For instance:
In a statement released by the al-Aqsa Brigades, the group said that the attack was a response to the killing of the groupís operatives, including its Nablus leader Naif Abu-Shrah.
—-
A senior group operative told NRG Maariv, “The bomb was placed in the bus and not as the Israelis say. It is a quality attack that will force the Israeli defense establishment to face new challenges. Israelís wall will not prevent our resistance fighters from reaching Tel Aviv“.
Our Muslim friend continues with his line of reasoning (which is more a squiggle than a line):
Imagine if some white supremacist said, “We can lock up all the inner-city men or build walls around the inner city, until crime stops.” Uh. Okay. How would you verify that the crime stopped?
Interesting, but not surprising, that this blogger uses an analogy with a white supremacist. Sounds like turnspeak to me.
As for his contention that it is impossible to verify if the crime has stopped, I say that it is not difficult at all. It is actually quite simple: No terrorist attacks means the crime has stopped.
This sounds like Israelly Guantanamo: You’re in there and you’re unfortunately not likely to be released, though no one knows what your crime was.
No-one knows what the detainess in Guantanamo are doing there? I wonder if our friend has heard of September 11. As for the PLO Arab terrorists, I think it is pretty obvious what the “crime” is.
But for all of his attempts at feigning logic, our Muslim blogger reveals his true hand when he starts a bizarre rant.
Oh, maybe someone down the street blew himself up, but Ariel Sharon fires missiles into apartment buildings. Which is funny, cuz he’s so fat, he could carry a lot were he to… never mind…
Actually, the proof of his hatred for Israel is found before this – at the top of his blog, which contains a quote b “Golda Meir, former Prime Minister of the Entity.”
I suggest the Muslim blogger comes to grips with the fact that this entity isn’t going anywhere.
