Updated throughout the day
- French President Nicolas Sarkozy has asked Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to show creativity and try to make some gestures. Well, you can’t say he isn’t creative, given that he is forging ahead with his plans to help set up a palestinian state, even after finding out his peace partner’s organization tried to assassinate him. - The wife of abducted Israel Air Force navigator Ron Arad has been given a letter written by Ron shortly after his plane when down over Lebanon in 1986, as well as a photograph.
- Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has stated that Iran would need “between another three and eight years” to produce a nuclear bomb, saying there is plenty of time for diplomacy. - Iran is cracking down on public displays of affection, including kissing. The Neturei Karta better now think twice about visiting.
