Shavua tov to you all, and welcome back to what will undoubtedly be another week of fun and games here in the Middle East.
Here’s what we missed since I was last online.
- Despite our “deterrent capabilities”, palestinian terrorists fired 3 more rockets into Israel. In response, the IAF bombed another – you guessed it – smuggling tunnel.
- The palestinians claimed the IAF killed an Islamic Jihad terrorist, but all signs point to a case of premature explodation.
- Scary Hillary is talking up the importance of indirect peace negotiations between Israel and Syria.
- Anti-Israel “activists” in Sweden got violent as they tried to storm a Davis Cup match between Israel and Sweden. They sure love peace, don’t they?
- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad got the shoe treatment
- In the wake of the Britain Foreign Office announcement it had contacted Hizbullah’s “political wing” in an attempt to reach out to its legislators, Hizbullah said they are encouraged by the “new language.” I have some new language for Hizbullah (and Britain for that matter), but this is somewhat of a family blog.
