First things first, I would like to wish a hearty mazal tov to my brother-in-law Eli and sister-in-law Briana, on the birth of their baby son Friday afternoon.
Now on to the main news from today..
- ABC reported that Israel carried out three air strikes since January against Iranian arms shipments passing through Sudan on their way to Gaza: two strikes on truck convoys on January 27 and February 11, and the sinking of a suspected arms ship in the Red Sea.
- What palestinian terrorism?: Palestinian negotiator propaganda minister Saeb “Massacre!” Erekat used the Washington Post to publish his latest propaganda piece, repeating the now-ubiquitous palestinian claim that it is the new Israeli government that is the barrier to peace.
- A US judge ordered Iran to pay $25 million plus interest to the family of Israeli soldier Nachshon Wachsman, who was kidnapped and executed by Hamas in 1994. It is historically hard to collect in such cases, since sending over big burly guys with baseball bats does not work so well with Iran.

11:08PM: According to the palestinian Ramattan News Agency, a Sudanese government official said Sudan is investigating the possibility that Israel was behind the air strikes in Sudan, but so far it has found no proof.
11:00PM: Final score, and Israel draws with Greece 1:1.
Israel will need to defeat Greece in Greece to have any hope of qualifying for the World Cup.

9:48PM: Erectile Projectile disfunction? A Qassam rocket fired from Gaza has landed on the palestinian side of the border fence.
9:28PM: Israel is currently battling Greece in a must-win World Cup Qualifier. The score is currently 0:0 at the 23-minute mark. You can follow the game online here.
8:57PM: RTT News reports that the Indian government has signed a USD 2.0 billion deal for the purchase and joint development of an air-defense system from Israel, the biggest defense deal with New Delhi in recent times.
I guess the Indians were not too put off by our really bad marketing videos.
Reminder:
8:50PM: Israeli Arab MK Mohammad Barakeh today claimed the IDF attacked him during a demonstration in a closed-military zone in Hebron. The IDF denied the charge, and say they have video proving he was not attacked.
As I have mentioned repeatedly on here and in person to IDF Spokesperson representatives, when they have video proof of something, they should release it in a timely manner assuming no security risk by doing so.
