New “Concentration Camp” Barracks Open In Gaza

A few weeks ago, I featured Gaza’s soon-to-be-opened Movenpick Hotel as part of my A Taste of “Concentration Camp” Gaza series.

Well, according to Spanish TV, it was inaugurated last week, which means we get to see more horrific images, such as the following:

There’s also some footage from the slum here (at 18 minute mark of the video).

According to this French language blog, the hotel is being managed by a Spanish hotel group, whose president is none other than a former Socialist MP, and the biggest investor is palestinian billionaire Munib Al- Masri, who helped bring Fatah and Hamas together for their unity deal (hat tip: Philosemitism).

well the people of gaza are rearly in big trouble now.
while the adults are being subjected to all forms of torture and abuse at the hotel of pain, the children can be inflicted with a regeim just as brutal even more so as they will have the added threat of the famous water torture, carried out at the new gaza water amusement park.
em makes you wonder how they managed to build these houses of pain and suffering with building materials in such short demand,may-be the fairies delivered them without any-body knowing.

  2. Maybe not. Last year, Mia Farrow stayed in a tent among the rubble of un-repaired homes–great for the photo ops, and keeps the truth out of the news.

i think it's fantastic, how they have created the illusion of water,it's the same in the rooms it's not the real thing, and at the olympic pool and the shopping malls, and you would not even know when swimming in any of the varios pools at palm village, fantastic how do they make it so life like and feel and look so real,it even tastes the same mind you family's at the water parks have never seen the stuff so they will never be able to tell the difference.

  4. The French blog also mentions that the huge swimming pool within the hotel complex is reserved exclusively for men (were you surprised?)

  5. You forgot the mention the food. As I know Mövenpick it is so fat, that once a medical doctor told to me, he does not want to commit suicide with food, therefore he never eats at Mövenpick´s.

  6. Oh, the horror they have to put up with. It is heart-breaking. Poor Palestinians.
Lucky we have the ”peace” activists on their flotilla heading for Gaza to save the situation.
