In 2007, anti-Israel blogger Richard Silverstein was mentioned in the New York Times, bemoaning the level of nastiness of comments left on his blog. Yet he is consistently nasty to those who leave any kind of comments on his blog which question or contradict his assertions.
In this feature, I post one of his nasty comments directed towards a commenter, comments which are frequently (unintentionally) entertaining.

What a moron. Now I’ve read the Hebrew & it’s precisely as awkward & imprecise as the English. I didn’t say I couldn’t read the Hebrew, but that I hadn’t, jackass.
Bonus: It’s in the same comment thread as this:

You personally and deeply offend me. If you want to talk to someone or participate in the comment threads here you will do so with respect.
Did you see his posting about “pinkwashing”? This, from Seattle’s most notorious cross dresser?
He opposes people who defend Israel by pointing out how well gays are treated there, while serving as the head of Cross-Dressers for Iranian fascism.
What you see there is in effect only the tip of the iceberg. The remarkably thin-skinned Silverstein, who claims to want “full-throated” conversations, bans those who displease him, which is to say anyone who would contradict him, thereby sparing himself the need to respond to critics.
