In 2007, anti-Israel blogger Richard Silverstein was mentioned in the New York Times, bemoaning the level of nastiness of comments left on his blog. Yet he is consistently nasty to those who leave any kind of comments on his blog which question or contradict his assertions.
In this feature, I post one of his nasty comments directed towards a commenter, comments which are frequently (unintentionally) entertaining.

Not that you care, but you come across as a total shithead. Is that what you intend?
By the way, the comment thread is interesting also for the fact that Silverstein’s transparent anti-Israel bias became too much even for longtime Silverstein commenter Chayma (and former Israellycool commenter, before I let her know she was no longer welcome), who is far from being supportive of Israel to say the least. As she asks Silverstein here:
Is this is an anti israel website? One does not immediately think that a site that purports to ‘promote Israeli democracy’ should not vocalise anything pro Israel. This is why you have pets like Deir Yassin, and why Bob Mann has to put up with so much crap here.
So why not just say, this is an anti Israel website, this way, pests like me need not post here.
