The Hamasholes often freaks out over Jews ascending the Temple Mount, calling each one a “settler” who has come to destroy al-Aqsa by performing “Talmudic rituals.”
While their genocidal hate is often directed at Jews, they have a profound fear of anyone who isn’t a Muslim.

It’s not the mosque, since in 2000, the Wakf banned any non-Muslims from entering it. Rather, it is the surrounding compound called Haram al-Sharif, which the Palestinians purposely fuse with the mosque, as a way of expressing control over the open area used by Muslims for soccer and picnics.
Their freak-out at obviously foreign tourists visiting the site should serve as a strong hint of their xenophobic mindset.
Unfortunately, western journalists are all too happy to lie by reporting that tensions are due to Jews visiting or – heaven forbid – praying at their holiest site.
