The Adolf Hitler page on Vkontakte, the Russian version of Facebook, is having a beauty contest. The contest is called Miss Ostland 2014 and there are actual prizes!
The name of the contest is a nod to the German civilian occupation regime of the Baltic States in 1941, known as the Reichskommissariat Ostland (RKO). Vocativ, which documented the beauty pageant in English, prefers to call the contest Miss Hitler 2014, because that’s what this contest is really about: espousing and propagating Hitlerian values, such as the superiority of Aryan eugenics and beauty.
Shocking? I suppose it depends on whether you are watching the Aliyah rates from France or say, the Jobbik Party’s newest triumph in Hungary.
Jew hatred is spreading everywhere. Should the Baltic States be any different?
The real question for me is what exactly does a Jew-hater look like? Well, based on the pool of contestants, it seems that Jew-hatred comes in all shapes and sizes although not in so many colors. The contestants are all Caucasian.
