Another Reason To Visit Israel

Guess who’s not on Yahoo’s top ten list of countries where you’re most likely to get food poisoning?

If you said “Israel,” you’re right.

I know, I know. You’re thinking: with all those greasy shwarma and felafel dives, how can that be?

I have no clue.

But I do trust the Yahoo piece, because believe me, if Israel were a place to get food poisoning, the media would be all over it as a Zionist conspiracy.

typical israeli felafel barUnsurprisingly, a lot of nearby countries did make Yahoo’s list. For instance Turkey, Egypt, Greece, and Morocco. But would you believe that the United States is #7 out of ten?

Here are the top 10 places people have gotten sick abroad:

1. Spain (30 percent)

2. Turkey (15 percent)

3. Egypt (13 percent)

4. Greece (12 percent)

5. France (12 percent)

6. Italy (8 percent)

7. America (7 percent)

8. India (7 percent)

9. Morocco (6 percent)

10. Thailand (6 percent)

The moral of the story? Come visit Israel.

The felafel’s warm.
