As Israel and Judaism continues to get battered at the UN for no reason other than the fact that Arab member countries have had a bone to pick with us for the last 7 decades, we continue to be outraged.
How outraged are we? Remember when a small Danish newspaper published a cartoon of Mohammed?
No maybe not that outraged.
Remember when 2 Muslim boys got electrocuted while hiding from cops in France?
No. Haven’t quite reached that level of outrage yet.
Do you remember when an Israeli politician visited the Temple Mount? (And people totally bought this lie as a reason?)
Oh wow. I hope we never reach that level of outrage.
Remember the social media rage when a Muslim kid brought a suspicious looking clock to school?
Remember the countless incidents of racism against Muslims that created a storm on social media creating countless memes, posts by celebrities and a sea of support?
Will anyone remember the day that a world body whose sole function is to preserve history, educate, and promote science and culture took 4,000 years of Jewish history and threw it in the garbage thanks to a politically motivated resolution introduced by a fictitious state called “Palestine”?
Will anyone remember when 26 so-called friendly countries abstained from voting instead of stopping this farce with the 19 needed votes?
No. Because this is what our outrage looks like.
That’s it. A couple tweets. A Facebook rant. Some politicians will write some angry letters. Then we’ll continue on our merry way until some UN organization thinks of another issue to attack us on. (Maybe for building illegal outposts on Sukkot)
Let’s review.
For the last year, Israelis and Jews and basically anyone at the wrong place at the wrong time, were subject to stabbings, shootings, hit and runs, a bus bomb and rocket attacks thanks to the weekly fiery sermons by Al-Aqsa’s Imams and religious leaders. The lies that led to this “wave of violence” were no different from the ones that led to the 1929 Hebron Massacre.
The text in the UNESCO resolution state a laundry list of alleged things Israel is doing on the Temple Mount. All are exaggerations or all-out lies. Accusations that Israel is causing physical damage to the Mosques when the violence is clearly caused by the fanatical Muslims within.
The PressTV-esque language used in the UNESCO resolution refers to Temple Mount visitors as “storming”.

That’s like putting up a sign in Central Park saying, “No Jews Allowed”, and then when a family of Jews walks in a newspaper publishes a story with the headline, “Jews Storm Central Park.”
The text of the resolution refers to the “historical status quo” and to give the Waqf full control. Oops. One of Palestine’s historical revisionists forgot this 1925 pamphlet from the Waqf saying “its identity with the site of Solomon’s Temple is beyond dispute.”
Will we get outraged at the fact that despite us suffering 42 deaths and 577 injuries in 323 terror attacks in the last year, ISRAEL is at the receiving end of a UNESCO condemnation?
Will we get outraged at the fact that the same lies that led to 323 terror attacks in 12 months led to the UNESCO denying the Jewish connection to Jerusalem?
Israel never had a bright past in the UN, and Despite what Netanyahu said at the UN General Assembly, it won’t have a bright future. Time to defund this useless organization. It has no integrity and it has no functional purpose for bringing peace to our region.
Jews have “given away” their most holiest places to Arabs for peace. Bethlehem, Shchem, Hebron. And now the UN wants us to believe we will give away our literal Holy Grail. Jerusalem.
We Jews will never use violence to get our way. We will never throw temper tantrums at society because someone offended us. Our responses are calculated and intellectual. What frightens me and what should frighten you, is no one listens to calculated and intellectual anymore. They’ll listen to ones who burn cars, riot in the streets and murder in the streets. That’s not our way. So let’s continue to quietly get picked on.
