Last night, the New York Times hosted rock-n-roll BDS-hole Roger Waters for an hour-long discussion.
Naturally, the issue of Israel and his BDS-holing came up. And naturally, Waters lied through his teeth.
Among his lies:
- He is accused of being an antisemite because it is the only way pro-Israel people can attack his reasonable positions (Inflatable Star of David pig, Nazi comparisons and talk of a powerful Jewish lobby notwithstanding).
- BDS only wants equal rights for the palestinians, and are not trying to destroy Israel (“From the River to the Sea” chants and support of terrorists notwithstanding).
- The palestinian refugees were all turfed out of their homes in 1948 and 1967. Nope and nope.
As the Free Beacon reports:
One event-goer—a self-described “Israeli leftist” named Danny—approached the Free Beacon after the event to dispute the false statements made by Waters.
“That man is a full of shit person,” Danny said.
It is also sickening to hear the fawning NY Times moderator on Pareles and audience, but great to hear that Radiohead ignored him – although that was kind of obvious.
