Not long after my previous post about Jibril Rajoub’s efforts to have the Argentina-Israel friendly football game cancelled came news that the Argentina Football Association (AFA) relented. And the Israel haters and BDS-holes have not wasted any time declaring “victory.”
For example, this is what the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel tweeted following the announcement:
BREAKING: We welcome news that @Argentina's "friendly" football match with Israel has been canceled! The team responded to creative campaigning from fans around the world denouncing Israel’s sports-washing of its crimes against Palestinians. @FIFAcom: Take note! #NothingFriendly pic.twitter.com/9ZdFYy32ke

Note what they say:
The team responded to creative campaigning from fans around the world
And what did this “creative campaigning” include?
- Threatening team members and their families
- Threatening to torpedo Argentina’s bid to host the 2030 World Cup
- Urging Arabs fans to burn their Messi shirts and posters
- Protests with bloody team shirts

I guess one man’s “creative campaigning” is another’s “vile threats, bullying and intimidation.”
Shame on the AFA for giving in to the bullies. But to be perfectly honest, they are just following the template of capitulation we have seen from countries around the world in the face of the campaign of terrorism launched in the name of the so-called palestinian cause.
You know, the kind of thing that saw this young fan of the Argentinian team murdered.
This was Daniel Tregerman, a 4-yr old #Israeli boy murdered by Hamas mortar which struck his home near Gaza, 2014.
Daniel was massive #Argentina & #Messi football fan.
Think of Daniel when you read how Argentina caved to Palestinian terror blackmail & cancelled match vs Israel. pic.twitter.com/4wIUtdPczE
