On the recent episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, the topic of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s antisemitic comments came up. After Bill Maher explained why he personally did not find the comments to be antisemitic (even though he considers himself pro-Israel), author David Frum opined it depends how you make the comments, and brought up fact Omar has defended the corrupt regime of Venezuela. Enter singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor John Legend, who basically defended Omar’s comments, while showing his ignorance.
