Israellycool Turns 17

Remember this little guy?

Today marks exactly 17 years since I began this blog. As you can see from my first blog entry, it has come a long way (to say the least).

To put this in perspective, that is almost a year before Mark Zuckerberg launched Thefacebook (yes, you read that right) and three years before Twitter was created. Heck, I was still in my 20’s!

In those days, you could count all the Jewish and Israeli bloggers on one hand (perhaps two), and Ariel Sharon had just become the Israeli Prime Minister the previous week.

A lot has changed.

I hope to be able to continue doing this for at least the next 17 years, G-d-willing. If you agree this would be a good thing, please consider donating to the site via one of the Paypal buttons below the post and/or spreading the word about Israellycool.

Now back to work!
