Israel-haters Canadians for Justice & Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) have launched an initiative to award grants for student groups to spread hate on campus.
At first I thought this was a cynical attempt to get those who otherwise do not believe in their amoral cause to do some of the dirty work on campus. But the grant application form makes it clear that the groups who can apply have to already be affiliated with CJPME.
As a reminder, CJPME is the same group that has filmed themselves defacing Israeli products in stores, and encouraging others to do so. In fact, their list of educational resources “your group can distribute to other students on campus” are the BDS sticky notes (like this) used to deface products.
Meanwhile, it seems that CJPME still has charitable status in Canada, despite ostensibly breaking the law. Please sign the petition to help have this revoked.
