Daniel Negreanu is a Canadian professional poker player who has won six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and two World Poker Tour (WPT) championship titles. He has been recognized as the best poker player of the previous decade and one of the best of all time.
Besides being an extremely good player who is great at reading opponents and situations, he is also a very colorful personality as this clip shows:
World Series of Poker would definitely not be the same without him.
It turns out Daniel is also a huge mensch who is willing to stick his neck out and show his support for Israel and the Jewish people. Here is just a sample of his tweets on the subject:
I have to admit this surprised me for some reason – perhaps I assume extremely confident people are more likely to be “know-it-alls” who know very little. Besides, I have been disappointed more often than not post October 7. Then again, he is so expert at reading bluffs, I should have known he could see through the lies.
I will be definitely be rooting for Daniel any time I watch games in which he is playing.
