Last Thursday I visited communities in Otef Aza (the Gaza envelope), which had been devastated by the Hamas atrocities of October 7. On the agenda were visits to Sderot, Nachal Oz, Re’im (the scene of the Supernova music festival), and Kfar Aza.
I had been delaying the visit for a long time, not feeling like I could handle the emotions of being there. It took me almost three months to drum up the courage to go, and I am glad I did it, if only so more people will see my video and better appreciate the atrocities we endured and the trauma we continue to endure.
