Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper signed HB-16-284 into law on March 18, 2016. The legislation orders the state Public Employee Retirement Association (PERA) to identify all companies that participate in the BDS movement and add their names to a list of restricted companies. It requires the pension fund to divest from these blacklisted entities and prohibitsit from making future investments in them.
