On February 26, 2016, Georgia’s SB-327 was approved by the State Senate, prohibiting the state, “including all of its subdivisions and instrumentalities,” from entering into contracts or agreements with companies involved with the BDS movement. This legislation passed the State House of Representatives on March 24, 2016, and was signed into law by GA Governor Nathan Deal on April 26, 2016.
