South Carolina’s state legislature passed bill H-3583 banning the state from entering into contracts with companies that participate in certain kinds of boycotts.The legislation does not mention Israel, but rather refers to companies that boycott “a person or an entity based in or doing business with a jurisdiction with whom South Carolina can enjoy open trade.”
