Who are you?

I am a 35-year-old Jewish guy, originally from Perth, Australia.

When did you move to Israel?

Towards the end of 2000.

What is your background?

My religious background is that I was brought up as a secular Jew, but, through a series of events, decided to become observant. My journey led me to studying Torah in Israel for a year, which means that if you are going to attempt to discredit Judaism by bringing so-called “sources”, be prepared to be caught out on it.

Education-wise, I completed law school, and also earned another degree in commerce/business. I also have a diploma in Tetris, and snooker.

Why do you post anonymously?

I prefer it this way, since I want the focus of my blog to be spreading the truth about Israel and the Jewish people, rather than me.

Why the name “Israellycool”?

I thought it was a nice play on words. Besides, I think Israel is a cool place.

Do you hate Islam?

I do not know enough about Islam to hate it. What I do hate, however, is the version of Islam, which is being propagated by the Islamic terrorists. Whether or not this is the “authentic” version is something I need to investigate further.

Do you hate all Muslims?

Of course not. I hate the Islamic terrorists, and I make a point to distinguish between them and “moderate” Muslims, for whom I have the utmost respect. I just wish there were more of them speaking out.
