I think it’s safe to assume the police wanted to be absolutely sure this guy didn’t have any explosives on him: they’d already encountered one exploding woman this morning. And there’s only one quick way to make sure: strip ‘em.
We’re often told by Palestinians that they feel endlessly humiliated by Israel. Imagine if we stripped them naked and paraded them in front of the world’s media like this? That would be seen as yet another justification for the endless terror they throw at us anyway. And the world would back them up.
Update: let’s see if this death in the line of duty causes more sympathy in the world than when one of our sons or daughters in uniform dies.
