There’s a big story breaking in London over a large, extended, Muslim family being turned away at the airport just as they were all trying to fly to the USA for a holiday. But is there an Israel connection?
The press are having a field day but this interview on LBC with one of the fathers is of interest. Right at the end, 5:20 in to the interview, he seems to say that his brother flew to Israel ten years ago and was stopped while entering Israel. He went “out of the blue” to see the “holy mosque”. He arrived on a Friday, was kept overnight and on Sunday he was let out.
It isn’t clear if the brother was refused entry and sent home or allowed to enter Israel.
The allegation is that the only reason he was stopped by Israel was because he is “a bearded man”. Buckle up, this will be a bumpy ride!
Update: Now there’s an interview with the wife of the gentleman who was turned away from Israel. She confirms he was travelling with a group of men who were all denied entry to Israel and held overnight.
