I’ve made two videos about the WannaCry (also known as WCry, Wana Decrypt0r, WannaCrypt, and WanaCrypt0r) ransomware virus that spread over the world at the end of last week. First is an explanation, the second is an addendum about why Israel hasn’t been hit.

Bottom line: if you’re on Windows turn on auto-update. Second Tuesday of every month is a very important day but patches can come at any time. You cannot afford not to. If you’re on an out of support system (XP for e.g.) ditch it now.
