Nostradamus Says..

Will the new pope please stand up?
Ok, now run!
The pope elected to succeed John Paul II will be assassinated and his death will spark a Muslim invasion of the West that will split the Roman Catholic church, according to an interpretation of Nostradamus’s prophecies by a leading Colombian author.“The next pope elected will be subsequently murdered in central Italy,” said Gonzalo Echeverri, a Colombian investigating judge and author of a book on Nostradamus.
I joke about this since I cannot remember the number of lousy Nostradamus predictions I have heard in my lifetime.
Mind you, the prospect of a Muslim invasion of the West is not so far fetched, especially if the majority of Western countries continue with their policy of appeasement.

I’ve never been a big fan of Nostra, however, these observations are in harmony with prophecies I believe to be true. Namely, the downfall of the United States and the Catholic church.
I know the Muslims will play a big role in the end times. I wonder how it will relate to the equally big roles of the Chinese and the Russians.
I generally have an optimistic outlook , but I must admit, I do have a ‘bad feeling’ when it comes to world events and power play within my lifetime. You don’t need to be a prophet to envisage some kind of upheaval is on its way. But I feel (like many others), that the Middle East will be the source of ignition.
If the Pope is killed and in the way described ‘ by Muslim invasion, then the world will already be in turmoil, because in order to get to the Vatican, the Muslim hordes would have to supplant millions of Christians. Who presumably, will be either dead or servile.
It’s a highly unlikely scenario to develop in a relatively short space of time (5-10 years?) So as prophesies go, its pretty weak. He should go back to growing coca.
(of course if he’s proven correct ,I will deny any association with my comments here)
