Ma’an News reports:
The Interior Ministry of the de facto government in Gaza issued a statement on Monday warning residents not to pay attention to masked men who are masquerading as government security forces.
The Interior Ministry said that these men are not affiliated to the security forces. The statement instructed Palestinians to call the police immediately if masked men appear, threatening to confiscate cars, computers, or cell phones.
Which begs the question. How would anyone know these masked men threatening to confiscate cars, computers, or cell phones are not the police?
