What is the Arab-Israeli Conflict About?

  1. I second that: Nicely done!

If this video piece can’t persuade our enemies, this is not because it’s unpersuasive, but because its assumptions are at odds with those of our enemies.

Regarding our Islamic enemies: They don’t think a non-Muslim state has a right to exist anywhere in the world, least of all somewhere that had once been under Islamic rule.

Regarding our Marxist enemies: They don’t think any nation-state has a right to exist in the world, least of all a nation-state that represents the exact opposite of the way they think history should be going—a nation-state assembled from a stateless diaspora, while they think humanity should “evolve” beyond nations and their states into an amorphous, vapid “Brotherhood of Man” living in a worldwide “Dictatorship of the Proletariat.”

The animus of the Marxist-Islamist alliance toward Israel is unique in its intensity, but not in its content: They oppose Zionism as they oppose all nationalist movements, and they oppose Israel just as they oppose the idea of the ethnostate everywhere. But the intensity of their hatred is ferocious when Israel is concerned, for Israel is not only antithetical to their view of how things should be (that a former Muslim-ruled land must never return to non-Islamic rule; that humanity should “evolve” away from nations and nation-states), but also because Israel has shown, and is still showing, with HaShem’s help, resistance to their nefarious plans.

It is an honor to be hated by them. This video is excellent in that it shows the righteousness of our resistance to these oppressors of the world.
