I watched every episode … with my child who was a Monkee’s fan from Day 1.
im old, so i was able to watch the show during its original run
i was driving to a client when the news came over the radio….i had to pull over
it may be silly….but this hit me really hard
a chunk of my childhood got ripped away, and my mortality was thrown right into my face
i had stuff to do tonight, but instead, i spent the evening watching monkees music vids and interviews
goodbye davy….at least you get to hang with zappa, lennon and harrison again….they got it
