What Is The Point Of The BBC?

As we know, the BBC has decided that the eternal capital of Israel, Jerusalem, one of the oldest continuously inhabitied cities in the WORLD is not the capital of Israel. Jews have formed the majority of it’s residents since it was founded except when forced out of the city at gun or sword point. But still, each and every time they returned. We can’t even get married without declaring that we’ll never forget Jerusalem. Who else has that in their wedding service?

I’m glad to see that the office of the Prime Minister of Israel is not leaving this issue alone. There is a rapidly growing Facebook page asserting that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. The Mayor of Jerusalem has issued a press release as well.

22/7/12 – In response to the BBC’s decision not to refer to Jerusalem on its 2012 Summer Olympics’ website as the capital of Israel, but rather “the seat of government…though most foreign embassies are in Tel Aviv” Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat issued the following statement:

“Throughout the history of Jerusalem, with over a dozen conquerors, only the Jewish people have called the Holy City of Jerusalem our capital. Jerusalem today, under Israeli sovereignty, has returned to the role it played 2000-3000 years ago. There is unprecedented freedom of movement and religion and the world is welcome and encouraged to enjoy the beauty and majesty of Jerusalem.”

“We will not accept those who deny our history, our sovereignty, and our right to determine our own capital. Irrespective of the BBC’s political agenda, Jerusalem was, is, and will always be the capital of Israel and the spiritual, political, and physical center of the Jewish people.”

And still the BBC refuses to state that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

So what else does the BBC do? Well it’s once proud tradition of reporting is basically shot to hell these days as well. Here is a recent example of their “work” from Syria as analysed by the No Agenda Podcast. Just listen to the sheer amount of speculative rubbish that the BBC re-broadcasts. No attempt to verify and no real reporting. They’re just taking stuff off YouTube and pretending they are journalists. Pathetic.

Don’t you just hate it, Brian, when Americans try to do British accents? These guys were awful.

Buh-bye, England. The Nazis didn’t eat you. The Muslims will.

According to Karl Marx (and the Ottoman census), Jews were the majority of Jerusalem’s population long before modern Zionism.

Declaration of War. – On the History of the Eastern Question

“the sedentary population of Jerusalem numbers about 15,500 souls, of whom 4,000 are Mussulmans and 8,000 Jews. The Mussulmans, forming about a fourth part of the whole, and consisting of Turks, Arabs and Moors, are, of course, the masters in every respect, as they are in no way affected with the weakness of their Government at Constantinople. Nothing equals the misery and the sufferings of the Jews at Jerusalem, inhabiting the most filthy quarter of the town, called hareth-el-yahoud, the quarter of dirt, between the Zion and the Moriah, where their synagogues are situated – the constant objects of Mussulman oppression and intolerance, insulted by the Greeks, persecuted by the Latins, and living only upon the scanty alms transmitted by their European brethren”

Same as the “point” of public broadcasting on the PBS in the US.

The BBC is a State within a State. it is extremely rich form its compulsory subscriptions and all the commercial spin offs through selling their programmes to the commercial channels. Most of its senior staff have tax schemes saving them huge sums from their high salaries. The BBC is politically correct in the extreme and its news staff are dedicated to producing news from a particular point of view. I still remember one of their journalists standing in front of a bombed building castigating the Israelis for doing the damage, yet right behind her was the remains of a rocket launcher.
