Only In Israel: Police Car Taxi

A brilliant advertising campaign against drink driving.

taxi

The white front half of the vehicle is of a police car, and the yellow back half says “Taxi.” At the bottom, it says “Choose your ride” (hat tip: Natan)

Update: This is not the first time we have seen some Israeli ingenuity when it comes to police-related campaigns.

Update: Jono raises a good point – taxis in Israel are white. But taxis in the palestinian territories are yellow. So actually, the police car might be the better choice for Israelis, and the yellow taxi representing the choice of someone really, really drunk.

Update: It’s apparently not only in Israel (hat tip: Phil).
