You may recall how, on my recent trip to California, I saw Alan Dershowitz speak at UCLA about his book The Case for Israel. At the time, I recounted how Dershowitz addressed the accusations of plagiarism against him by anti-Israel professor Norm Finkelstein (whose own books include The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering).
Apparently, on September 8th, Dershowitz issued the following challenge: “I will give $10,000 to the PLO…if you can find a historical fact in my book that you can prove to be false.” Well guess who has taken Dershowitz up on this challenge? None other than Finkelstein. And those lunatics at SF Indymedia have published a transcript of the debate, which can be found here.
Of course, they have not published the whole transcript and, in their abbreviated transcript, Finkelstein gets the last word in.
